Particulalry like the 20% time - is that the same as "skunk work" There is a school of thought that says if you're not working on funded work then you're not contributing. I disagree. Yes, you need to fund what you're doing - the organisation wouldn't last long without it - but you also need to make those links, those mental leaps to the next place we need to be or you'll be taken by surprise and not in a good way! There is a school of thought that says if you’re not working on funded work then you’re not contributing. I disagree. Yes, you need to fund what you’re doing - the organisation wouldn’t last long without it - but you also need to make those links, those mental leaps to the next place we need to be or you’ll be taken by surprise and not in a good way!
